Ryan Fishel is a California native with a love of baseball, music, and Cajun food. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and a Master’s from UCSD, both in Biomedical Engineering with Honors. His thesis research was in using fat cells to create blood vessels, and designed a patent-pending medical device. An avid lover of space and astronomy, Ryan spends much of his time 3D printing rocket engines with a startup company. With tutoring experience in chemistry, math, physics, and biology, Ryan loves tying together interdisciplinary and real-life aspects of STEM education. Ryan’s other interests include playing the ukulele, running, and planning vacations he’ll never take.
